        新媒體藝術創作者，在機械裝置中尋找一種生命運動中的恆定狀態，理性的處理人類存在的勞動與異化過程。冷斂又詩意的方式，將機械機芯的絕對精度視為一種抽象語言，傳達一種生動的哲學。又如物理實驗般進行，企求在非線性邏輯下提出的假設成為自定義，進而在人之於時空中宏觀與微觀的反思，探尋存在又非實體現象的光影介質。曾獲國立臺北藝術大學新媒體藝術創作卓越獎、桃源創作獎首獎，並獲邀於歐洲藝術學院聯盟參與阿姆斯特丹NEUNOW藝術季、


南法CHRONIQUES數位藝術雙年展展出。
            
            
            將機械元素作為創作媒介，又作為對生命意義的更深入探索。將藝術的創造力使機器可以通過精確組件和重複機械運動的結合所產生的運動注入生命能量。
            
            
A new media artist, Tsai, Yi-Ting looks for a constant state of life in motion in mechanical devices, rationally handling the labor and alienation processes of human existence. With a chill, poetic approach, Tsai deems the absolute precision of mechanical movement as an abstract language, conveying a living philosophy. Like a physics experiment, she seeks to make assumptions proposed under the non-linear logic self-defined. Further, amidst the macro and micro rumination over humanity in the space-time, the artist explores the medium of light and shadow that is an intangible existence . Recognized by the NTUA Outstanding New Media Art Award and the Top Prize of the 14th Taoyuan Contemporary Art Award, Tsai was also invited to NEU NOW of the European League of Institutes of the Arts at Amsterdam, Chroniques - Biennale of the Digital Imagination in France.

Tsai harnesses mechanical elements as her creative medium and as a deeper inquisition into the meaning of life. Channeling her creative force of art, the artist instills energy of life into machines via the dynamics produced out of the combination of precise components and repetitive mechanical motions.

 不平衡的車輛懸起一顆巨大的石頭，呈現一股緊張的力量。突破這凝滯畫面的是由車輛透射出來的光，與映射在地面上的糢糊風景，經由民眾互動下收集來的影像數據，一段段流淌的吉光片羽揉和而成的時間集合體，是每個依循個體而成立的微型時空，投射的是自我真實的感官經驗，呈現眾人一路的過程。

車輛作為一個移動載體，是工業文明的發展與個人自由價值的彰顯，但拖著巨大的石頭與凝滯與此地的衝擊，像是文明與自然之間的抗衡，這一方面呈現了失衡的張力，一方面又是恆常的當代現象。The imbalanced vehicle suspends a huge stone, creating a sense of tension. Breaking through this stagnant scene is the light emitted through the vehicle, and the blurred landscape projected on the ground. The image data collected through the interaction with people is weaved into sections of time collections. Each one a miniature space-time established according to the individual, and it projects the true sensory experience of oneself, showing the process of everyone along the way.

As a mobile vessel, the car is a manifestation of the development of industrial civilization and the value of personal freedom, howerver, the visual impact of dragging a huge stone and stagnating in this place is like a counterbalance between civilization and nature. This aspect presents an imbalanced tension. On the one hand, it is also a constant contemporary phenomenon.

2021曝光在時間下的我們，時間是永遠的變量。如果玻璃也有記憶，像是底片般將光累積，收映在汽車擋風玻璃上的旅程，想必是一道溫暖的光。雨刷在看不清的時候啟動，抹開霧與雨水，剩下清晰的窗外風景。刷掉距離的限制、刷不掉映射著他方的思緒。動力裝置作品，以一面擋風玻璃的車窗，與兩支搖擺的雨刷為作品主體，將物件作為記憶的承載，呈現車窗模糊的影像，與雨刷規律的動態光影變幻。

從近年蔡宜婷「一部無限的歷史與它的定律」系列作品中，時間與距離是其嘗試說明的對象，玩具小車與螺帽在不同的跑動中開啟物理學的假想，其作品也能看到關懷舊時代人與機械的工業文化，與對應著當代社會變遷的探討。曾於半夜跟蹤大度路承德路一段的垃圾車，記錄下「測量計畫 - 地磅 / 斤兩」，一個關於掂量人類存在的行動與測量。或整理自身的撿拾行為「新青年合宜住宅計畫」，在街道回收共計45件的物品，經由撿拾、修復、共存的三階段行為，執行為期半年的生活創作計畫，嘗試討論生產線上的汰舊換新與剩餘價值，幾近如我們───比擬人的想像。

Time is an eternal variable for those of us who are affected by the passing of time. If glass collects memory in a way that is similar to how films accumulate light, sceneries absorbed by windshields must resemble a ray of warm light. Windshield wipers are activated when the vision becomes blurry and reveal the view ahead; the wipers may be able to eliminate the barriers of distance but are unable to discard thoughts of far-flung places.The main composition of this kinetic installation is one windshield and two windshield wipers. The objects become vessels for memory while the rhythmic movements of the windshield create blurry changes of light and shadow. Tsai’s recent work series An endless history and its laws is an attempt at interpreting time and distance, inspiring imaginations on physics through the motions of the toy car and nut. Tsai’s works also convey sentiments toward human labor and the industrial culture of machinery and explore its correspondence with changes in contemporary society. The artist once tailed the garbage trucks of Dadu and Chengde Road, which induced the Measurement Project, a venture that calibrates the actions and measurements of human existence. 非線性科學：混沌

光點的軌跡，在運作中呈現時間的紀錄，均衡的運作在自身隨機又反饋自身的力量。在確定的不可測得中，因初始極微小差異造成的非線性亂數變化，如果可以無盡的加疊，看似混沌無理產生的結果，或許可以在更龐大的系統中看見秩序。


/光點的軌跡，畫下時間的紀錄，在運動中呈現隨機又反饋自身的力量，時而因重力而快速，時而因慣性而懸停，擺動的自然猶疑與停頓、忽快忽慢的速度感，在時間的過程中不斷放大，蘊積能量的光點，在確定的不可測得中猶疑，因初始的微小差異造成的非線性亂數變化，如果時間的路徑可以無盡的加疊，看似混亂無理產生的路徑，是否可以在更龐大的系統中看見秩序？

經由裝置動態呈現幽微又龐大的系統架構，聯繫起生命中細小的事件關係，看似毫不關聯的碎片又有機地匯集成一個整體，在時間下被凝縮或膨脹的感官思緒、轉化成可凝視的軌跡，讓錯綜複雜的狀態全盤托出，失序又看見秩序。

如果說時空間的關係是一條無盡的跑帶，時間的流動是施力，我們因重力而立足於上，而看似前進的奔向未來都是一場誤會，沒有大於時間的力，宏觀的來說，我們是前進活到過去之中的未來，每一分每一秒都是。

If the relation of time and space is endlessly running, we live on this planet simply because of gravity. Time is the force of flow, and although we attempt to stop our progress towards old age and nonexistence, the passing of time is inevitable and cannot be stopped. 

Tsai Yi-Ting uses the abrasive belt as an analogy of the infinite history to express how the world and life within it is executed, how this concentrates emotions and incidents into a constant state, and thus transforms into an unchanged law and principle. 

She tells stories from her cultural background with a poetic approach, viewing the absolute precision of mechanical movements as an abstract language. This abstract language may convey a living philosophy, even transcending the visual image of the work. She uses mechanical elements both as a creative medium and as a deeper exploration of the meaning of life. Artistic creation makes it possible for machines to be infused with living energy through the rhythm created from the combination of precise components and repetitive mechanical motions.
