The artist, Tsai Yi-Ting, has constructed Lighting Flowers, a stunning field of plant-like lanterns that celebrates Weiwuying’s metamorphosis into an inviting oasis where city-dwelling children are able to commune with the natural world. Swaying with the wind, these bionic flowers also symbolize the hopes of humanity planted in the earth, and point to a future where artificial life-giving plants may eventually become a reality.
The artist team installed around 3000 light-ball installations along the lakeside near the Bird Watching bridge. They ramble over the riverside like plants and each of them is 70-120 centimeters in height. The bud-shaped vegetation exudes a rhythmic aura in the dim light of night. The lights beaming gently with a fantastic atmosphere and the soft stems swaying in the wind like real plants. Using IoT technology to realize the connecting network of nearly 3,000 flower lights with the signal spreading and changing one by one, just like plants communicate with each other.
The spectacular scale lends enchantment to the scene of a sea of twinkling light, serving as the perfect foil for the nighttime of WeiWuYing Metropolitan Park.

在曲橋的水岸，藝術家團隊設置了約100支、高約100公分的光球裝置，彷彿植物蔓生一般，散布在河畔。這些花苞狀的植被，將在晚間逸散出有如自然呼吸般的韻律光芒，點綴著月津港的黑夜，遠觀有如閃爍的晶瑩光海；繽紛的虹光之花因為人的溫度而盛開，一期一會，成為燈節中情意深重的浪漫風景。

The bud-shaped vegetation exudes a rhythmic aura in the dim light of night, serving as the perfect foil for the nighttime of Yuejin Harbor. Distance lends enchantment to the view of a sea of twinkling light. These flower buds will open and wear iridescent colors when they sense the body temperature of the visitors who approach or touch them. The romantic scene conveys the idea of "one encounter in a lifetime," a loving display of deep affection during the lantern festival.

曾在衛武營發起的「綠色革命」，希望保有讓孩子們和草花樹木一起成長，讓都會居民有個溫暖的綠色夢境，這正是現在的我們共同感受到的美好，延續美好意象以動態進行式的「植光」為作品命名，築微光中的綠色之夢。這些仿生花隨風搖曳，也像徵著人類種在地球上的希望，並指向人工賦予生命的植物最終可能成為現實的未來。
將象徵希望微光的仿生花植入大地，種下關於未來「微光中的綠色之夢」、「植光的寓意」、「人造植物未來式」的思考，在環境保育、農業生技、生態與人文共融的美好未來。
